Golden Finishes has appointed Jeremy Aston-Phillips to the position of sales director.

He will be responsible for delivering GF’s overall business strategy, with a hands-on approach in all aspects of the company. He will oversee sales, marketing and operations and will work directly with John Sheppard, GF’s CEO.

Mr Aston-Phillips joins GF from a long career in the embroidered garment sector, having held the position of sales director at Blue Max Banner for over 10 years.

Mr Sheppard said: “Jeremy joins GF at a point where we have now streamlined the operations and processes within the company to ensure that we are ready for the growth ahead. Jeremy brings with him extensive commercial and operational skills and experience; he adopts the same hands-on approach that is very much part of the GF ethos. Jeremy and I have worked together in the past and I have always felt that his experience and commercial acumen would be an asset to the company. As well as his knowledge in garment distribution and operations, Jeremy has a background in IT and engineering which will be an asset to Golden Finishes for the future.”

Mr Aston-Phillips added: “John and I have always spoken the same language when it comes to business, I was delighted to accept the challenge and the opportunity to work together to take GF to the next level.

“This new role is going to be exciting and a lot of fun, along with the existing customer base, I will also be able to work with many of my contacts in the industry, helping them all develop their businesses with the products and services that we have to offer at Golden Finishes.”

Established in 1989, Golden Finishes started as a badge making service offering sewing finishing. Since then, the Golden Finishes business has grown into many different areas, producing a variety of badges, pennants and associated products, both printed and embroidered. GF currently produces over a million badges per year, and that number continues to rise.
