After returning in 2022 from two years out, Print & Stitch has had a successful run of shows this year, and now announces the 2023 line up with more exhibitors and bigger venues.
The aftermath of the global pandemic changed the workplace for many people, with most of us becoming more tech-savvy and virtual meetings becoming the new form of communication.
While this was a great way for businesses to keep in contact with their customers, it was a concern for the trade show and exhibition industry, wondering if the new virtual communication methods were to be preferred rather than venturing out to visit shows.
Print & Stitch returned in May with a line-up of eight shows, and what a success they were. Visitors arrived, with recognised faces alongside new customers that had entered the industry because of the pandemic.
One-to-one contact
Andrew Stocks, Stocks Embroidery Machine Solutions, said: “It has been great to get back to the shows this year and have that one-to-one contact with customers new and old. We are looking forward to next year’s shows and being able to show our new ZSK Racer R Type embroidery machine with a top speed of 2200spm, the fastest embroidery machine in the industry to date.”
Industry leading suppliers at the shows include garment distributors BTC activewear, Ralawise, Fruit of the Loom, Russell, Result Clothing, Mantis World and Beechfield Brands, software suppliers Wilcom and DecoNetwork, ZSK and Brother embroidery machine and accessories supplier Stocks Embroidery Machine Solutions, embroidery threads supplier Madeira, and printing machinery and accessories supplier TheMagicTouch. There really is something for everyone at every show.
Jim Nicol, TheMagicTouch, added: “Print & Stitch regional events continue to be the best platform to demonstrate transfer applications and highlight the growing new and unique applications possible using various image transfer solutions. Seeing is believing!”
Bringing the products to the customers
Bringing the products to the customer allows personalised demonstrations to truly appreciate the customers’ requirements and be able to provide the best products to meet those requirements. Having everything under one roof, from machinery to accessories and garments, those new to the industry are able to find everything they need to get up and running, with specialist suppliers on hand for expect advice and solutions.
Emilia Hepple, organiser of Print & Stitch roadshows, concluded: “Visitor feedback from the shows have been very positive, with mentions that it’s great to be able to visit shows again and see the products in person. Visitors also mentioned that it would be great to see a few more exhibitors at the shows, so that’s exactly what we’ve gone and done. We’re excited as 2023 will host our biggest shows to date, with more exhibitors and bigger venues.”
Joining the shows for 2023 are label distributors Asquith Group, laser equipment supplier Trotec and garment distributors Regatta, AWDis and PenCarrie with their own brand Native Spirit taking its own stand. PenCarrie is rejoining the shows after sitting out for 2022.
Print & Stitch returns on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Strathclyde, a venue favourite, with a further 11 shows following across the UK.
