British outdoor and adventure travel clothing brand Craghoppers reintroduced Craghoppers Expert to the professional market in 2021.
Answering calls for high-quality, technical uniform, the brand acted on feedback from the market and introduced the debut workwear collection from Craghoppers Workwear in 2024.
For example, the Richmond Stretch Workwear Jacket comes with a helmet compatible, rolldown hood, high reach panelling, odour control patches to the underarms, secure zipped pockets and the jacket can be adjusted throughout to create a tight seal against bad weather.
The Expert and Workwear ranges are crafted by a team of specialist designers who apply Craghoppers’ extensive knowledge of outdoor and adventure technology to the range.
In the case of the Richmond Jacket, the brand’s acclaimed AquaDry waterproofing technology is a key feature.

Craghoppers’ breathable waterproofing technology can be found in other jackets like the Expert Active Jacket.
- H2OShield
A plant based durable water repellency made from a renewable source in keeping with Craghoppers’ sustainable philosophy. This water repellency can be found in all jackets and legwear like the Sheffield Holster Trouser that has features like reinforced pockets and stitching, a hammer loop, and removable holster pockets.
- ThermoPro
This specially constructed high loft insulation gives comparable warmth to a natural down but has been constructed in a more sustainable way by using part-recycled materials to create the fill.
ThermoPro can be found in warming insulated jackets like the Expert ExpoLite Thermal Jacket. This jacket can be worn as an outer-layer to repel winter weather for outdoors work or can be worn as a mid-layer under a waterproof jacket to keep warm with in heavy downpour.

An effective barrier to biting insects, this technology is present in many of the base layers and trousers throughout the Expert and Workwear ranges. The Expert Kiwi Long Sleeved Shirt features this special weave throughout its specially designed part-recycled polyester and Better Cotton cotton shirting for a moisture wicking shirt that offers maximum comfort for long wears.

Present in all long-sleeved base layers, trousers, and headwear, SolarShield offers up to UP50+ sun protection.
Meaning, you can work safe in the knowledge that for any outdoor work, you are safe from the harmful rays of the sun.
Sustainability is also strongly woven into the DNA of Craghoppers Expert and Craghoppers Workwear. The brand includes as much recycled material as possible in each piece of kit and, uses a 3D design system (CLO) to minimise the use of samples and waste materials throughout the design process.
