Three new appointments at DTB

Sue Fells

Direct Textiles + Bags (DTB) has appointed Sue Fells to the role of business development manager, where she will bring an incredible amount of experience from her various roles within the industry, ranging from working for some of the most formidable suppliers, to equally impressive distributors.

She will be responsible for the ongoing development of customer relationships, and ensuring DTB can help its clients maximise their potential across the board. Ms Fell’s breadth of knowledge and experience will prove invaluable to DTB.

Ms Fells said: “I am thrilled to finally be a part of the DTB Europe team. They stand for everything I have always held in high esteem – excellent customer service, incredible print and embroidery quality as standard and always looking to grow, develop and invest into new territories. I’m looking forward to working with the 180 staff and also to meeting customers both old and new.”

Mark Somerfield, sales director at DTB, added: “Sue is such a valuable asset to have in and among the team. The experience and relationships she brings with her will only elevate DTB to new heights.”

Also joining the team are two new order administrators in Courtney Duggan and Susan Sloan.

Responsible for supporting the other admin team members in helping with the everyday tasks, Ms Duggan and Ms Sloan now bolster a very impressive department that is taking strides to streamline and improve DTB’s efficiencies and working processes.

Rebecca Finlay, admin team leader at DTB, said: “Courtney and Susan have settled in really well, it is lovely having them join our admin team and are already on track to be top support to us all.”
