To say it’s been a challenging year would be an understatement but in spite of all the upheaval, Chadwick’s has continued to advance considerably expanding UK warehouse capacity.
Upgrading systems to increase speed, accuracy and visibility throughout the ordering and dispatch process. Investing in more stock and digital marketing assets to support customers as online shopping trends proliferate, with a particular focus on video content planned for 2021. A new all-encompassing digital and printed catalogue, plus enhancements to the increasingly popular customer web-portal are scheduled for the new year.
Despite some unavoidable hurdles and setbacks inflicted on most business over the last 12 months, Chadwick’s has not stopped or deviated from its plans. Product development continues to take precedence, updating and regenerating items and ranges based on style life cycles, customer feedback and changing demands is ingrained within the company’s ethos. Taking inspiration from sport, fashion and retail, Chadwick’s continues to pursue the development of innovative fabrics, concepts, trims, panel configurations and designs to drive the school sports and teamwear sectors onwards.
Two of the most popular ranges in each of those markets, the Edge performance teamwear range and the iGEN school games kit range, will see several new styles additions throughout 2021.
2021 Edge Teamwear range additions
Building on the range’s strengths and ready for the autumn/ winter 21 season, the Edge Teamwear range will be adorned with a contemporary wadded ¾ length Touchline Coat with a fishtail back opening.
A Hybrid Skinny Pant will be available in black and navy with self-colour Edge print on the lower leg. This premium product will be made from a combination of fabrics and textures for optimum comfort, fit and performance, plus some practical zip pockets.
A premium training Edge Short, that will be unlined with zip pockets, laser cut detailing and an engineered waistband, also due in black and navy.
Finally, an Edge Showerproof Jacket will be available in all the current Edge colour combinations with contrast panels and contrast Edge print. Created with a soft touch mesh lining and those essential zip pockets.

2021 iGEN range additions
The current four-piece iGEN school sports and games kit range, that consists of a Unisex Polo, Female Polo, Short and Skort in 10 stock colour combinations, will be complemented with a Skinny Track Pant and colour combination Midlayer set in 2021. Both arriving ready for the back to school period.
The iGEN Skinny Pant will be constructed using a lightly brushed-back full dull flat knit fabric combined with zip pockets and rib paneling at the calf, similar to that of the existing premium Skinny Pant (826), but at a more affordable price point.
The new iGEN Midlayer will utilise the same fabric but will be available in select iGEN colour combinations. Both new iGEN styles will be ready to sample from March with bulk stock arriving in June.
