Working hard for the wearer

When it comes to sportswear, teams and clubs need a kit that works as hard as they do – on and off the pitch.

GFORCE Teamwear, based in Leicester, creates bespoke garments that do just that, using state-of-the-art processes and technical fabrics to ensure the wearer feels confident and comfortable at all times.

It has recently introduced fabrics such as the Endure 185gsm – a flexible and absorbent fabric often used for rugby shirts – which provides four-way stretch and moisture management properties and is ideal for dye sublimation.

The Microforce Advance 155gsm is another of GFORCE’s newly introduced technical fabrics. Lightweight and durable, it allows the wearer’s skin to breathe and in turn, keeps their muscles working at peak performance.

For cycling kits, the Veloforce 200gsm provides an Advanced Compression fit with high wicking properties, regulating the cyclist’s temperature control and recovery.

And GFORCE’s Eyedroplet 180gsm fabric also provides temperature controlling, with visible perforations.

Katy Brocklehurst, marketing director at GFORCE Teamwear, said: “Technical fabrics play a key part in how well sportspeople perform.

“The right fabric can allow the skin to breathe and keep the wearer’s body temperature down, meaning they feel more comfortable.

“Also, fabrics that can be used for dye sublimation mean sportspeople can really tailor their kit and get a really bespoke look that captures their individual or team’s personality and brings their passion for their sport to life.”
