The new owner of Grafityp UK has decided to close operations at the company’s Tamworth site by the end of 2025.
Grafityp UK was acquired by UPM in July 2024. This decision supports the company’s broader goals of strengthening its operations, capitalising on synergies and integrating the acquired companies more closely with the global UPM group.
As part of this, the graphic films and heat transfer films business in the UK will be transitioned Metamark UK, a company acquired by UPM in February 2025.
UPM is committed to keeping its customers fully informed about the changes and ensuring a smooth transition.
