Changing needs

Over the last 10 years our customers’ needs have changed from large production machines to more compact, productive and efficient solutions. AJS, Tajima and Pulse have all seen the change and adapted in ways to help customers succeed in this new and challenging arena.

Tajima has redesigned machines with much higher speeds and easier controls, Pulse has written software to do more than just send a design to the machine and AJS has adapted its approach to sales and customer interaction with restructuring internally and providing professional support in all areas.

Big changes

While on the subject of software one of the biggest things AJS sees is a massive swing away from .dst designs to the benefits of .pxf embroidery files. An old original Tajima .dst file simply gives you a locked file to give you the stitch details for the machine to work. The benefits of a .pxf file are, set colours within the design to save time by not having to input them at the machine, set the start position and no more need to trace, set speeds to suit the design, add production notes to give operators instructions, easily resize with stitch count changing, work from beginning to end in one file format and much more. Most of AJS’ customers now get designs made in .pxf edit them with a simple Pulse system and send direct to the machine through Pulse networking. Nothing simpler.

AJS is committed to continuing to be the number one supplier of embroidery machines and embroidery software in the UK and Ireland. AJS has appointed an official sub distributor for Ireland to give the same level of support and service to its Irish customers www.embroiderymachinesireland.ie, working closely to co-promote its products with other suppliers such as Ralawise, DigitisingMart and Madeira.

AJS intends to be around for another 22 years and is even more committed to doing all it can to stay ahead of market trends changes, continuing to all that adapt to what is happening in the industry while keeping a friendly, professional approach.
