Bella+Canvas has released its very first impact report which highlights the steps the garment manufacturer is taking to improve its sustainability progress and commitments.
The report includes performance metrics from Bella+Canvas’ main locations – USA, Nicaragua and Honduras – between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.
2024 saw several highlights for the manufacturer including the maintenance of its WRAP Certification across its US production facilities and sewing operations, as well as earning the Fair Labor Association accreditation. Bella+Canvas also hired its first US-based sustainability lead and completed its first greenhouse gas inventory and lifecycle assessment.
Looking ahead, Bella+Canvas plans to invest further in renewable energy across its facilities, launch waste reduction initiatives, and develop emissions reduction targets in response to its baseline assessments.
Norm Hullinger, president, said: “As we navigate the challenges ahead, I’m confident that together we’ll continue raising the bar in the apparel industry. Our shared passion and dedication inspire us every day, and I am honoured to be part of such a remarkable team.”
