Brother and Mutoh issue update on EMEA integration

Brother HQ Brother and Mutoh issue update on EMEA integrationFollowing Brother’s acquisition of Mutoh Europe earlier in the year, the management of both companies have issued a joint statement to provide an update to partners and customers.

In the letter the two companies stated that they will continue to operate under both the Brother and Mutoh brands for the foreseeable future.

It continued: “We remain committed to developing and launching new products under both brands, leveraging the most suitable technologies and capabilities to address the diverse needs of our customers and applications.

“We highly value the relationships we have built with our dealers and partners over the years. No existing dealer or partner relationship will be changed or terminated as a result of the acquisition. We are working on strengthening our dealer network and partner program, taking into consideration existing partnerships, market coverage, each partner’s strengths, commitment to our brands, and potential for future growth.

“Our ambition is to combine the complementary strengths of Brother and MUTOH to deliver greater value to our dealers, partners, and end customers “at your side.”

The management concluded by saying partners and customers will continue to be informed as the integration progresses and further plans are developed. They added that both Brother and Mutoh were looking forward to building a stronger future together.

The acquisition was completed in April when Brother purchased Mutoh for approximately £170 million.
