The third generation family business, William Turner begins the celebrations of 50 years as a quality UK manufacturer with a new look Club & Corporatewear brochure.

The bespoke accessories brochure has been intentionally designed to not focus on listing products in catalogue style, but to clearly communicate to customers the design capabilities, lead times, order processes and the wide range of accessories available.

“Our marketing materials needed to reflect the premium standard of products and services we’ve been providing for decades,” explains marketing manager, Hayley Bonnick.

The 2018 Schoolwear Brochure from William Turner was previewed at the 20th anniversary Schoolwear Show in October. Customers who attended were able to get a first look at new ranges which includes hats, pre-school bags and new design of their junior and infant hi viz backpacks. Tie specialists since 1969

Continuing William Turner’s decades of tie manufacturing experience, the family business’ tie accessories portfolio boasts tie-pins, bespoke cufflinks, bow-ties and customised presentation boxes to accompany the multitude of design capabilities and finishing touches on offer.

Manufacturing

2018 looks to be a busy year for the business, after securing an exclusivity agreement with a dedicated bag factory that covers 17,000sq m and five floors the family business is due to move into a brand new factory in Nelson, Lancashire in the coming months.

John Turner, production director explains more about the move: “Our previous factory lease was due to expire, and a site became available to buy a few miles away; we employ a lot of incredibly skilled people locally and this was a great way to move into a better spec premises, have full control on all aspects of our production without any disruption to our dedicated staff. It’s an exciting time for the company.”

UK made wool wraps

As well as making around 40,000 ties a week in its UK-based factories, the popular supplier also includes UK made wool wraps (scarves) to the collection. Sourced from the finest Saxony merino wool, the wraps are a well suited addition to any organisation looking to promote a sophisticated identity, with the option to add crest embroidery.

Exhibitions

2018 will see the William Turner brand being showcased at a number of exhibitions in the UK, including PPD in Coventry at the start of the year and then at some more sports focused events following the success of exhibiting at similar shows in 2017.

The new year also sees the employment of a new digital marketing agency to further improve the Club & Corporatewear website and mobile experience, look out for some exciting changes in the year ahead.
