Efficiency is the secret to unbelievable embroidery production

Many embroidery companies are now turning to the Melco EMT16 modular embroidery system to drastically increase their production and their profits. 1)      Set up time – If you are setting up for a new order on a standard multi-head machine you cannot start your machine until you changed any threads and inserted each frame.  If you have to change just one cone of thread it could take around nine minutes on a six head machine.  With the Melco  modular system you can start each head when threaded, so downtime is drastically reduced.

2)      Bobbin Changes – On a standard multi head you would have to stop all heads to change the bobbins but again with the Melco modular system each head can be started when the bobbin is replaced.

3)      Thread breaks – If you have a thread break on a standard multi head all heads will stop until it’s re-threaded.  On the Melco modular system only one head will stop with the other heads still producing.
