A uniform corporate look presents a professional appearance towards customers. In addition, it supports a common identity among the employees. Applying logo print or embroidery on high visibility workwear is however subject to certain requirements.
Applying a company name and/or logo to your workwear is the best advertisement for your company and for the product you provide. It is a professional way to promote your company, and it is the natural way for your customers to see which company you represent. In certain trades, it is demanded that you wear high visibility workwear to keep you visible and thus safe while working, however, to fluorescent workwear you can’t just add a logo, as it is the area of fluorescent material and reflectors that determine your level of safety.
Hi-vis products are certified with a maximum approved logo area. If a logo that exceeds this approved area is applied to the product, the product can altogether lose its EN ISO 20471 certification. Some products are more suited for logo print and/or embroidery than others, but with all products you can find the approved logo area on Mascot’s website.
Hi-vis workwear is certified according to the product’s area of fluorescent material and reflectors. If this area is covered with a larger logo than allowed, the certification will no longer apply and the worker can potentially put himself at risk. Logos on, respectively, the front or back of the product can constitute only a maximum of 50% of the total approved logo area for the product in order to maintain the EN ISO 20471-certification. If this area is exceeded, the product can lose its visibility certification.
