Essential prints T shirts for NHS Nightingale

Despite the business being on lockdown, the family at Essential Embroidery Print & Design opened its doors to fulfil an order of 2,000 T shirts for NHS Nightingale.

The whole Georgiou family got involved in the order on behalf of Fluid Branding. Louis took the lead as print manager, with Elizabeth and George doing the offloading, with Nicki doing the QC checking at the end of the dryer.

Louis said: “Firstly, from myself and everyone at Essential we would like to wish everyone well during these uncertain times. As a business, we have taken all necessary steps to protect our staff and have temporarily shut down our production facility, with our sales and customer service departments being manned remotely.

“However, being a family business, we as a family we are on hand to come in service any urgent orders ourselves without having to put any of our staff at risk. This order for the NHS Nightingale hospital in London is exactly that and we are very proud to have been able to do something to support the NHS at this very critical time.”

NHS Nightingale is the UK’s newest and largest hospital facility, built in just nine days at East London’s ExCel exhibition centre. It has enough space for 4,000 beds to help treat coronavirus patients.
