Goldstar introduces pen made from coffee beans

The new Espresso ballpoint pen

Coffee beans make up one of the ingredients of the new eco-friendly Espresso pen from Goldstar .

30% of the material used to create this plastic ballpoint pen is made from post-consumer recycled coffee grounds, reducing the overall plastic required for manufacturing.

Even the look – the cappuccino colour of the barrel – stirs thoughts of the warmth of coffee.

This new pen also brings nature to mind by having a textured pattern on its barrel that is reminiscent of a pine cone. The full colour logo applied using the ColourJet technique on the wide pocket clip will clearly show which eco-minded brand or company is giving this stylish and engaging gift.

Colin Loughran, general manager of Goldstar Europe, said: ‘It’s a pen that recipients will talk about proudly and a pen we are proud to talk about too, as it meets the needs of so many eco-minded organisations.”
