The textile print industry is an evolving market that is growing from strength to strength, and advances in machinery has offered textile professionals access to new and exciting profitable ventures.

Roland DG a new edition to its textile sublimation range – the Texart XT-640 – which has been specifically designed for professional fashion and sports apparel production. The versatile dye sublimation transfer printer provides professionals from the textile industry with increased speed, productivity and design possibilities without compromising on the reliability, quality and precision that end-users have come to expect from a Roland DG machine.

The XT-640 boasts a number of new features to ensure a consistent quality output and perfect precision with every print run. The reinforced rail and frame structure enables highly detailed printing with precise ink droplet placement to allow businesses to produce flawless and intricate designs which in turn, increase their customer offering.

In addition to this, the feed adjuster is positioned at the front and back of the robust machine to optimise printing results by providing even tensioning while preventing the skewing of media – further allowing for precise, detailed prints with ease.

Roland DG creates its machines with the end-user in mind, and the XT-640 is no exception – offering a strong and reliable platform for clients to maximise productivity. The robust machine’s dual print heads achieve high-speed performance at a practical print speed of 41sq m/h; making it the perfect choice for businesses who have previously struggled to find a printer that allows them to produce high quality fashion and sports apparel at high volumes.

The versatile printer, coupled with Roland DG’s Texart inks, gives clients the complete package to produce high-quality textile print products that can boost profitability in a saturated market. The machine boasts an extensive colour range that produces bold and vibrant colours, and deep and rich blacks, increasing design capabilities.

Roland DG’s Texart ink has been developed specifically to work in harmony with the sublimation machine and is ideal for use on a wide range of textile application finishes. The orange and violet inks help to produce exceptional reds, oranges, deep blues and purples, while light cyan and magenta inks provide subtle gradations, beautiful skin tones and a remarkably fine level of detail.

The four-colour ink configuration can hold one litre ink pouches to ensure long-run printing helping to produce clear and vibrant colourings that deliver clear and crisp prints every time. The proprietary Roland Ink Switching System automatically switches to the backup ink pouch when the primary pouch runs out to further enable unattended operation.
