It’s a strong signing for Workwear by Regatta Professional!

Mark Felix models some items from Regatta Professional’s Workwear collection

World’s Strongest Man competitor Mark Felix has been announced as the new ambassador for the brand’s Workwear range.

Workwear launched in 2020 and is part of Regatta Professional’s huge 300 piece-strong range collection. The clothing is ideal for tradesmen and women and is truly inclusive, with sizes from XS all the way up to 3XL.

Strongman Mark isn’t just a face for the brand, he is also a professional plasterer by day and a keen wearer of the products.

He is a frequent competitor in the annual World’s Strongest Man events and once placed first in the IFSA British Championships. Hailing from Grenada, Mark moved to the UK when he was 23 and now resides in the North West, the birthplace of Regatta Professional. With a strong determination and proven durability, just like the Workwear range, Mark’s a great fit for the brand.

With a big marketing push to match the quality of the brand, the clothing giant will be promoting the partnership in stores and online, so expect to see bespoke POS and advertising in the upcoming months.

Making waves in the trade

Megan Pacey, marketing manager at Regatta Professional, said: “We’re really excited to get Mark on board with Regatta Professional to promote our Workwear range. It’s a great brand that’s making waves in the trade.

“Mark is much more than just a face for the brand; as a plasterer, he’ll be wearing the clothes day in, day out. We’re committed to working with tradespeople and providing quality clothing that’s full of features to help when they’re on the tools, and Workwear range delivers in spades. The T shirts are soft but hardwearing, the water-repellent trousers are protective but still comfy. And now the warmer weather’s coming, our range of hardworking shorts and smart polo tops will help keep people moving.”

At the photo shoot, Mark was kitted out in a number of core pieces from the range and loved the quality, versatility and range size – something he has struggled with before as a 6ft 4in man! The Infiltrate Stretch Trouser is popular piece and it’s clear to see why. They’re hardwearing but come with a comfortable stretch and they’re water-repellent too – perfect for those unexpected showers. Packed with pockets, the trousers are ideal for keeping everything to hand. To withstand daily wear and tear, the trousers come triple stitched and feature Cordura fabric. The Offensive Wicking Polo is a great base layer and comes with a classic three-button placket – combined with the colour blocking, it creates a smart look.

Mark said of the clothes: “I really like the Garrison Hooded Jacket and Offensive Wicking Polo. I like to look good at work and they both have style as well as having a comfy feel too. As a muscly guy, I struggle to find work clothes that fit, but the Workwear range goes up to 3XL – my size!”

What’s in the range?

The range includes everything from legwear, to the stylish Overhead Hi-vis Hoodie with a super soft feel. Not forgetting the waterproof overalls, perfect for when the rain really starts to pour. In fact, any tradesperson, no matter their profession, could kit themselves out from head to toe in the Workwear range, in any season.

And Regatta Professional hasn’t forgotten about the accessories. There’s belts and braces to keep trousers secure, woolly hats, thermal gloves and long johns for the winter, caps to keep the sun from your eyes, plus socks for work boots.

Nicki Roberts, marketing executive at Regatta Professional, added: “We’re really looking forward to building the brand with Mark. With Mark being in the plastering trade, he’s the perfect partner for Workwear and embodies the brand perfectly. We can’t wait to show you the campaign which is currently being worked on behind the scenes, helping to create even more of a buzz around an already fantastic brand.”
