Kornit Digital acquires PrintFactory

Kornit Digital has announced the acquisition of PrintFactory in a move aimed at accelerating the shift to digital production in the fashion and textile sectors.

The Netherlands-based PrintFactory specialises in workflow automation, colour management and production software, with its technology already used across thousands of print sites worldwide.

Kornit said the deal will help connect design, production and fulfilment into a single digital system, making it easier for manufacturers to move away from traditional screen printing processes.

The acquisition targets one of the industry’s biggest challenges – transitioning from analogue to digital production. PrintFactory’s platform is designed to simplify workflows, improve consistency and reduce waste while supporting a wide range of printing technologies.

CEO Ronen Samuel said the move is about building the infrastructure needed for on-demand manufacturing, while PrintFactory CEO Erik Strik said it would expand the company’s global reach.
