More than 100 visitors travelled to the North East to touch and feel the latest and most innovative promotional products.

Pro-Ad’s 2015 Promotional Merchandise Showcase took place on March 12 at the Newcastle United Football Stadium.

Over 30 stands from prestigious suppliers like A.T. Cross, The Outdoors Company and I.T. products company Desktop Ideas featured a great selection of the latest merchandise and workwear. The quality and variety of the products impressed the visitors who placed over 300 enquiries on the day.

One visitor said: “The show was even better than expected and it was great to be able to see some of the catalogue items we’d only seen on paper previously. It was also good to be able to meet the team and put faces to names. I believe it was wholly worthwhile and we’d be keen to attend in the future.”

All suppliers were really satisfied with the choice of venue, which offered great access and nice space and lighting which contributed to the optimal presentation of their products.

One of the show’s highlights was Don Henshall’s talk on leadership and building a brand. Mr Henshall impressed the visitors with his successful career in the world of business. He shared stories about his experience in working for Procter and Gamble, Diesel, Krispy Kreme and as well as his current role as CEO at Farrow and Ball and shared inspiring tips on what makes a great leader.

MD Carlo Nardini said: “This year we managed to combine a lovely venue for our show, some of the most prestigious suppliers in our industry and an excellent calibre of visitors which made our event a great success. Experiencing our visitors’ satisfaction was a great reward for the team and we are very excited to have been able to inspire them with new, creative ideas.”
