Norty achieves BCI certification

Norty has taken a major step forward on its sustainability journey by achieving Better Cotton Initiative Certification.

Becoming a certified BCI organisation reflects Norty’s ongoing commitment to building a more transparent, responsible, and sustainable cotton supply chain, from source to shelf. Through the sourcing of BCI cotton, Norty’s investment directly supports farmers in adopting practices that protect and restore the environment, improve soil health and enhance the livelihoods of cotton-growing communities.

The Better Cotton Initiative’s new traceable product label further strengthens this commitment. This certification ensures that products containing at least 30% physical Better Cotton can carry a certification mark, reinforcing transparency and accountability amid growing demand for credible environmental standards.

For Norty, this certification guarantees that its cotton products are grown in accordance with the BCI Farm Standard and verified through third-party audits, ensuring integrity and credibility throughout the process. The cotton used in Norty’s products supports biodiversity, fair labour practices and long-term community development, helping to shape a fairer, more sustainable textile industry.

Norty is the parent company to 11 leading clothing brands, including AWDis, Pro RTX and SF Clothing.
