P&P LIVE visitor wins special edition R-Jet 5 DTG printer worth £13,800 courtesy of Resolute DTG

When Linda Hendy, of Birkenhead-based Wirral Screen Printing, attended this month’s Printwear & Promotion LIVE, little did she know that a day later, she would be the owner of a brand new, special edition R-Jet DTG printer, courtesy of Resolute DTG.

The prize – no.500 of the successful direct to garment printer to be manufactured – is worth a staggering £13,800.

The winning ticket was drawn by Printwear & Promotion editor, Debbie Eales on the Resolute DTG stand. And it was Colin Marsh, Resolute DTG’s managing director, who had the happy task of phoning Linda with the good news.

Speaking from the busy Resolute DTG stand, Colin told Linda: “You’ve just won an R-Jet 5!”

A stunned Linda told us: “That’s amazing. It’s brilliant! We had been racking our brains about which way to go… we already do screen printing and heat applied vinyl, but we wanted something to print onto black and we came to the show to see how the DTG machine worked.

“I am thrilled. Resolute DTG have solved everything for us.”

Colin Marsh – who, together with Dr Andy Hancock, of Mexar, presented two very successful direct to garment seminars at Printwear & Promotion LIVE – was delighted to offer such a substantial prize at this year’s show. “It’s very nice to do it in Printwear & Promotion LIVE’s 25th year,” he said.
