Roland DG launches marketplace for sales and collaboration

Roland DG Connect Marketplace is a new community service that brings together customers who use Roland’s products and companies involved in the print business to freely buy and sell products and solutions and exchange a variety of information.

When Marketplace opens, supplies such as media, blades, and extended warranties will be available for sale with Roland DG Connect users able to shop there at any time.

Tony Miller, president, global sales and marketing division, said: “In the future, our hope is to allow our partners and industry experts to join as well, enabling participants to buy and sell products and solutions, share information on industry trends, exchange ideas and know-how with other users, and even outsource jobs during busy periods. We aim to create an international community where users can find everything they need for their businesses.

“Since its launch in April 2021, Roland DG Connect has provided a series of services to realise a more stable and streamlined print operations, grow businesses, and enhance profitability. Tens of thousands of our customers are now using it with more joining every day.

“We are very pleased to be able to provide a place for collaboration among various people, which has been our vision since the conception of Roland DG Connect. We believe that the sharing of ideas and know-how among users and partners with different skills and capabilities will be a major driving force in creating something new and unprecedented. The service has been launched in the US and Europe and will gradually expand to other areas.
