Where would you find a supplier who would make cricket sweaters in team colours? Knitwear specialists Mike Carden and Ian Pollard can help; they are the sales and marketing team for knitwear manufacturer Balmoral Knitwear.
The company can make low minimums of cricket sweaters with a very wide range of shades and stripe combinations. So that instead of a cricket club arriving at an opponent to find that both teams are wearing the same generic coloured stripes in their sweaters, they have something completely original.
Around 40 shades of yarn are available, and stripes can be a variety of widths. One stripe? No problem. Five stripes each in different shades? No problem.
Yarns can be selected to suit the pockets of the club. 100% acrylic is the most common, but Teflon-treated 50% wool 50% acrylic has obvious advantages, and Pure New Merino Wool is simply luxurious.
