Part of the international Supacolour Group, Supacolour has announced the opening of a facility in Corby, Northampton to start to produce heat transfers in the UK.
These will include the recently introduced high-performance, water-based heat transfers that can be applied to nearly all fabric types.
The transfers feature unlimited colours and gradients, no traps or borders, elasticity and rebound capabilities, and can be shipped as quickly as within one day. There are no setup fees weeding required, and the eco-friendly transfers don’t contain PVC and are compliant to Oeko-Tex Class 1 certification.
The company offers transfers for apparel, headwear and promotional products. The Supacolour Wearables and Sub-Block transfers are suitable for all fabric types, except those with waterproof coatings. They have been tested to more than 50+ domestic wash standards and feature exceptional stretch capabilities for the wearable products. The optional add on Sub-Blocking capability opens up the ability to apply to bleeding and previously sublimated fabrics.
Supacolour Headwear transfers will bridge the seam of a six-panel cap without cracking and is suitable for a wide range of cap fabrics with only one press needed in most cases, according to the company.
Supacolour Promo transfers, which have reduced stretch, are designed to be applied to items that won’t be washed, including tote, shopping bags, cooler bags, umbrellas and more.
The transfers are available to applicators and suppliers at the company’s website and via its distribution network.
The facility in Corby is planned for opening in October when production will begin. From a customer point of view the UK company is already operational and taking orders.
