Uniform Brands has appointed Kieron Traynor has the new CEO with effect from August 7.

Mr Traynor has joined the company having been a former main board director of the Dewhirst Group where he grew and diversified the product and service portfolio.

With over 22 years experience in the sector, while at Dewhirst Mr Traynor was MD of the menswear division as well as serving as a main board director during a period of strong revenue growth from £150m to £250m. During his tenure Dewhirst developed the team and replica shirts for premium clubs including Manchester United and Barcelona with Nike and Adidas. It also supplied own label clothing to companies including Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, Ralph Lauren and T.M. Lewin.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining Uniform Brands to build on the success and commitment to outstanding customer service. Our clients are facing a constantly evolving market place and I am looking forward to positioning Uniform Brands to provide value added solutions across the segments in which we operate.”
