If there were ever a time to be offering more products and services to existing and new customers, it’s now. Adding value and creating new revenue from existing customers is the best cost-effective method for growth and when combined with pro-active targeting using personalised product samples then the process becomes considerably easier.

While it’s always good to have lots of new product innovations, sometimes you need to stop and review how you currently market and introduce them to customers both now and in the future, especially with the current COVID-19 restrictions which we expect to be with us for some considerable time.

TheMagicTouch continues to offer affordable image transfer solutions that assist in creating those very marketing opportunities that pay dividends in both the short and long term.

When considering or investing in any digital technology there are some key factors that need to be addressed. Firstly, potential buyers need to understand the full range of printable products possible from their investment, the actual running cost, warranty cost beyond the first year and more importantly must feel confident in being able to generate and maintain sufficient print volumes needed to see a good profit and return on investment.

Three clear affordable solutions

TheMagicTouch offers three clear affordable solutions, TheMagicTouch (toner-based transfers), DyeSub Magic (sublimation), and the MagiCut range (flex, flock, glitters etc.) all of which when combined offer the user the ability to decorate onto almost any garment or product regardless of colour or fabric composition. This applies for workwear, sportswear, promotional and fashion markets and when combined with the vast range of non-textile promotional and B2B products makes TheMagicTouch a real source of sales and marketing ammunition.

TheMagicTouch continues to work closely with major apparel brands in perfecting print solutions for new garments and accessories, with a multitude of different fabric compositions including cotton, polyester, softshell, denim, nylon, canvas and even leather.

Jim Nicol, UK managing director, says: “Garment decorators must consider offering more products and services to their existing clients which is easy to say, but harder to implement. However, we have proven methods perfected over many years that work, are affordable and effective in generating sales and enhancing the customer experience.”

New for 2021

New innovations for 2021 include an improved version of the award-winning WoW 7.8 transfer paper, regarded as the best affordable option for full colour transfers for the decoration of many different types of garments and fabrics. In particular the WoW 7.8 has proved a highly successful solution for the decoration of windbreakers, softshell and various performance fabrics with stunning and durable results. These higher quality garments tend to offer the better margins and great repeat potential. Let’s not forget, not many DTG’s are currently able to even print such popular products.

The company also introduces a new range of Soft-Metallic flex. Developed to offer the softest ever feel of any metallic flex equivalent, combined with outstanding durability. The product when applied to garments looks and feels outstanding. Available in nine colours on rolls of 500m width and suitable for all plotters and cutters.

TheMagicTouch also introduces its new HTP123Pro Heat Press which offers an affordable and reliable press with four interchangeable platens. Each platen is perfect for making specific transfers easier to apply on such items as bags, sleeves, facemasks and thicker substrates up to 3cm.

The company will also launch a unique application which will grab the attention of those currently printing or decorating white sublimation mugs. The new transfer process enables full colour decoration of glossy mugs in various colours with an added process option available to ensure dishwasher compatibility. The process is done using the existing CPM toner-based transfer paper with the white-toner technology, traditional mug press and a silicon wrap. The market for short-run non-white mugs continues to grow beyond all expectations.

The company has also expanded its demonstration and customer support capabilities, using Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, enabling online live demonstrations, technical support seminars and marketing tutorials.

Other new product arrivals in 2021 include new toner-based printers together with a host of printable products including personalised air fresheners, glass and window stickers and a new all-in-one printable PU for all solvent, eco-solvent and latex printers.
