Forever has been developing transfer paper for colour copiers and laser printers since 1989.
As one of the first producers, Forever now offers appropriate transfer paper for color copiers and laser printers of the new generation. Its product range covers paper for light and dark colored textiles as well as for hard surfaces.
The new transfer media from Forever for white toner technology makes transfer printing on dark garments as easy as on white garments.
It has been 25 years since the first laser copier was launched and almost that long since people started to use laser copiers and printers as a digital transfer manufacturing tool for garments.
Printing and pressing a full-colour image or photograph onto a T shirt using laser printed heat transfers is a simple and inexpensive way for businesses like printers/copiers, T shirt shops, screen printers and others to decorate all types of garments and promotional items.
Unfortunately this simple and inexpensive way was, until now, only limited to white or light coloured garments. Printing on dark garments has always been a challenge. Even products with excellent washability and colour, such as Forever’s Laser Dark, have satisfied customer needs with the ability to print photographic images.
The application of letters, numbers and logos have needed an additional cutting and weeding process. As a result, people have always dreamed about transfer printing on dark garments in an easier way.
Now you can produce self-weeding transfers in white, metallic and neon colors, without a special toner and without cutting and weeding with Forever’s Flex-Soft (No-Cut). The most annoying step, the weeding of the flex foils, is no longer required with this new and innovative material.
Forever’s well-known two-paper-system now with the difference, that the A-Foil coating is coloured with the single colours of white, metallic or neon (18 colour options), instead of being transparent. This offers the possibility of very fast production in a cost effective way, without investing in an expensive printing system or plotter. It has all the combined characteristics of the established Flex Foil, with the additional benefit of Forever’s (no-cut) system.
The two-paper-system from Forever gives amazing and consistent results. First print on the transparent A-Foil, press it together with the dark opaque B-Paper LowTemp and separate both sheets from each other while hot.
Now, you have white coverage on the image through the B-Paper LowTemp, which not only increases the opacity of the transfer on dark garments but also contributes to its washability. Both steps are done at the same temperature. The application tolerances are extremely high, reducing handling errors and allowing the user high flexibility.
