Schoolwear manufacturer William Turner & Son has purchased a factory unit in Nelson, Lancashire to continue manufacturing its ties and accessories in the UK.

The company will be relocating from its existing facility in Colne when the new 10,000sq ft property is completed in October of this year.

Daniel Turner said: “We are proud of our reputation as a leading UK manufacturer of school ties and are proud to employ 35 people locally.

“We are delighted to be moving into our own brand new factory in Nelson, from where we plan to increase the quantity and range of ties we manufacture.”
