BagFlag signs three-year deal with Kandinsky

Worcester-based business The BagFlag Company continues to unlock its brands growth potential around the world with the signing of a three-year license agreement with Germany Company Kandinsky Deutschland.

The Kandinsky Group, a key presence in the European promotional merchandise industry, was established in 2001 and is staffed by over 40 employees in three countries. It can boast a client portfolio which includes many of the blue chip corporations, household brands names, sporting clubs and automobile manufacturers throughout Europe.

Phil Brunger from The BagFlag Company said: “We have been working with Kandinsky over the last 10 months while they evaluated the potential in representing our unique product across their areas of operation. We are thrilled and excited after securing licensed distribution throughout the Americas and recently Italy, Poland, Russia and the Middle East, this very important agreement with Kandinsky Group moves the BagFlag Brand even closer to achieving global penetration and availability.

“The new agreement will see Kandinsky Group both manufacture and distribute the BagFlag products exclusively across Germany, France, Benelux, Scandinavia, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and the Baltic States and on a non-exclusive basis in Finland.”

Caroline Plath, senior marketing and product manager at Kandinsky, added: “The BagFlag is a great and innovative invention, which promises a lot of potential to different audiences. We especially like the double benefit Bag and Flag in only one patent protected, promotional item. We have found that patented or protected products work very well in our German and European market and ensure USP for our customers. We think the BagFlag is a suitable, smart and innovative addition to our portfolio. In January we exhibited BagFlag at the PSI trade fair in Dusseldorf for the first time. This exhibition is one of the largest and most important events in our market/industry. We had an amazing response and a great deal of interest to the new BagFlag which also convinced us of the potential of this product throughout our markets.”
