On January 4, the British Promotional Merchandise Association revealed the winners of its Apparel Product of the Year award.
The Rab Downpour Eco Waterproof Promotional Jacket walked away with as the Platinum winner. Built from recycled 2.5-layer Pertex Revolve fabric with a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment, the jacket is Rab’s first ever mono-polymer waterproof jacket. It uses a polyester outer and membrane, which means that, in addition to being 100% recycled, it also has the future potential to be fully recycled at the end of its life.
The Hiker Jacket was the recipient of the Gold award, while the Full Size Sublimation Bucket Hat was the Silver winner.
Other categories in the annual BPMA Product Awards included; Award & Gifting Product of the Year, Food & Drink Product of the Year and Sustainable Product of the Year.
Judging took place across two rounds, with guest judges meeting in December to agree the final winners in each category.
