In this article, Laura Dutton, marketing team leader of Premier Workwear, discusses how you can help your clients create a stylish front-of-house space with staff uniforms at the heart of it.

The hospitality industry thrives on first impressions – from the moment a guest walks through the door, their dining experience begins.  Well-presented front-of-house staff should be on hand to meet-and-greet and set the tone for what lies ahead.

The culinary scene across the globe is diverse with so many unique concepts popping up, from dinner in the sky to afternoon tea under the sea!  Whatever the concept – quirky or quaint – there should be a common theme through the company logo, menus, staff uniforms, interiors and furnishings.

As a branding expert, you can help your client create a cohesive look by using colour through their uniforms.  Use a Premier colour card and encourage them choose a palette of several shades from the ‘Colours Collection’ where there are bib, waist and pocket aprons in up to 62 colours.

To show you how effective this can be, I have selected four beautiful pastel shades from the collection and brought this to life.  Embracing the latest trends for simplistic Scandinavian décor, you can see how Premier Workwear has taken this palette and built a sense of harmony with complementing furnishings and accessories.

You can create plenty of different looks for your client, simply by using a combination of aprons, shirts and tees from Premier’s hospitalitywear collection.

Order a colour swatch card and the latest copy of Premier’s Artisan magazine for more ways to create inspirational team uniforms.”
