Chadwick’s announces investment in future plans

A new Skiny Trackpant and a 1/4 Zip Tracktop set join the iGEN range

During 2020, Chadwick’s expanded its UK warehouse capacity and employed new members of staff. Now the company has announced further plans to invest in the future.

These include an upgraded operating system to increase speed, accuracy and visibility throughout the ordering and dispatch process, and continued investment in UK held stock. And as online shopping trends proliferate, Chadwick’s will be creating even more digital marketing assets to support customers. A particular focus on video content creation is planned for this year. Plus. an on-location photoshoot and subsequent all-encompassing new digital and printed catalogues are in the pipeline.

Product development also continues to take precedence. Taking inspiration from sport, fashion and retail, Chadwick’s continues to pursue the development of innovative fabrics, concepts, trims, panel configurations and designs to drive the school sports and teamwear sectors onwards.

Two of the most popular ranges in each of those markets, the Edge performance teamwear range and the iGEN school games kit range, will see several new styles additions throughout 2021.

Building upon the strengths of the Edge Teamwear range, Chadwick’s will launch another two styles this year. The first is a contemporary wadded 3/4 length Touchline Coat, with a fishtail back opening. A new Hybrid Skinny Pant will also launch later this year in black and navy, with an engineered waistband and self-colour Edge prints on the lower legs. This premium product will be made from a combination of fabrics and textures for optimum comfort, fit and performance, plus some practical zip pockets too. The skinny pants will be available to sample from May with bulk stock landing in July.

The current four-piece iGEN school sports and games kit range consists of a Unisex Polo, Female Polo, Short and Skort in 10 stock colour combinations. The range will be complemented this year with a Skinny Track Pant and colour combination 1/4 Zip Tracktop set, which are available to buy as separates.

The iGEN Skinny Pant will be constructed using a lightly brushed-back full dull flat knit fabric combined with zip pockets and rib paneling at the calf, like that of the existing premium Skinny Pant, but at a more affordable price point.

The new iGEN 1/4 Zip Tracktop will utilise the same fabric but will be available in select iGEN colour combinations. Both new iGEN styles will be ready to sample from May with bulk stock arriving ready for the back-to-school period.
