Cottonridge has announced plans to install solar panels at its offices in Norton Canes and new 50,000sq ft warehouse in Stafford.
The move is part of the company’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and increase its use of renewable energy.

Richard Joyce, managing director of Cottonridge, said: “We are committed to do our part in the fight against climate change and transitioning to solar energy is a crucial step in that direction. Not only will it reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, but it will also help us save on energy costs in the long run. We hope that the solar panels will generate enough energy to power the entire operation of both locations, including lighting and heating.”
Cottonridge decided to install solar panels as not only is it good for the environment, but it also makes financial sense as the payback period on the investment is becoming increasingly short.
Cottonridge has long been dedicated to corporate social responsibility and this is the latest example of its commitment to making a positive impact on the environment. Cottonridge plans to use the savings generated by the solar panels to reinvest in the business and create jobs.
