During these troubled times, the team at Cottonridge have turned to making face shields for the NHS and care homes throughout the UK.
Staff are making the shields in their own time and to date Cottonridge has donated face shields to over 22 care homes and hospitals who could not get them from their normal source.
Cottonridge MD Richard Joyce said: “In these troubled times we all need to do what we can to get past this COVID-19 period and help vulnerable people and key workers. It is our duty and we all need to step up to the plate. When this is all over and believe it or not one day it will be, we here at Cottonridge want to be able to say we that we made a difference.”
Cottonridge has also set up a Crowdfunder page to raise funds to buy the materials and at the time of writing had raised over £2,000.
