Commercial director, David Webster, said: “If you go to China for any cast product you have to pay a tooling charge of between £100 to £500 and an order of 500 plus units, plus you do not know the quality is going to meet your expectations and sometimes the plating and surface finish is not what was expected.
“We charge a small fee for a sample to show the customer the product before going into production, the fee range from £50 to £150 for standard tooling. The smallest order we will make is 10 items but these can be completely custom designed. The key is that it can be branded as required. In golf for example we can create a custom made golf buckle with the company crest in colour for as little as 50 buckles.
“Even the packaging we design and create, from 50 custom rigid cardboard boxes to wooden boxes we can brand for your customer.
“For resellers looking for Christmas gifts or a gift that is unusual to provide their corporate customers, Devanét may be the solution. Our normal lead time for samples is seven to 10 days, with production this is three weeks. We can and have done it in a week but this was exceptional.”
