As you may have read in last month’s P&P Sawgrass Technologies is introducing the first fully-integrated high-definition product decorating system to markets around the world.
Now it has been announced that DyeSubMagic the sublimation division of TheMagicTouch in the UK, has partnered with Sawgrass to offer the Virtuoso HD Product Decorating System.
Sawgrass has partnered with printer manufacturer Ricoh to produce the only inkjet printers on the market designed specifically for high definition product decoration. This unique partnership marks the first time an ink and printer manufacturer have worked together to create a sublimation system that ensures the highest quality result, while delivering consistency and affordability as never seen before.
DyeSubMagic based in Dunstable, is pleased to be able to bring the Virtuoso HD Product Decorating System to customers throughout the UK, and is currently accepting pre-orders. Complete systems include either the SG400 or SG800 printer with enhanced SubliJet-HD water based inks. Both printers deliver maximum resolution up to 1,200×1, 200dpi, while the inks are designed specifically for Ricoh’s print head technology and with significantly greater colour gamut.
Also included in the Virtuoso HD Product Decorating System is Sawgrass’ proprietary CreativeStudio online design software and advanced PowerDriver 4.2 colour management program. CreativeStudio makes designing easier than ever, with images, templates and guides for creating popular applications and products accessible from virtually any computer or connected device. PowerDriver 4.2 has been enhanced for greater colour control and versatility with popular graphics programs, such as Photoshop and Corel.
Virtuoso systems will initially consist of A4 (SG400) and A3 (SG800) options, with optional paper feed units and bypass trays available. Both products will enjoy expanded in-house technical support for all of the system’s components and a standard one year warranty.
