A family-run garment decorators has won a colourful new window display after entering a competition at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! in February.
Elizabeths Embroidery in Stockton-on-Tees are the lucky winners of a Russell display stand with interchangeable header cards, two pop-up banners and merchandise including shirts, T shirts and softshell jackets.
All materials in the display were supplied courtesy of distributor BTC activewear, which ran the competition on its stand at the show.
More than 600 entries were received during the show. Sarah Bentley from BTC activewear said: “We are delighted for the team at Elizabeths Embroidery. P&P LIVE! was a great forum for meeting customers new and old and we wanted to run a prize draw that would be a tangible benefit to their business.”

Lisa Halligan from Elizabeths Embroidery said: “We have been a BTC activewear customer for the last five years. Supplying to many of the top schools and employers in the North East, we always look for quality and Russell and BTC activewear deliver on that promise.”
In a complete coincidence BTC activewear and Elizabeths Embroidery are both celebrating 25 years in business this year. Not only is BTC celebrating its 25th anniversary, Russell and BTC activewear are celebrating 20 years of partnership together.
Over the years Elizabeths Embroidery has invested in new equipment and is continually growing its business. Despite this growth the company is still using its first ever machine, known as ‘Babe’, which is still going strong at 28 years old.
George McCue, business development manager (UK and Ireland) at Russell said: “It’s fantastic that BTC activewear is supporting its customers with competitions like this one, as promotional materials are a key selling tool for our brand. P&P LIVE! was great for us this year, with the market noticeably more upbeat.”
