Epson UK has announced the appointment of Xpres as a new authorised reseller for the SureColor SC-F2000 direct to garment desktop printer.

Xpres sales manager Damon Piall commented: “We have no doubt that the Epson SC-F2000 is the polished, high quality DTG solution we’ve been waiting for. Epson is a true global brand and its reputation for industry-leading quality and customer satisfaction is something that reflects our own ethos.”

Prospective buyers of the SC-F2000 can visit the 3,500sq ft Xpres Inspiration Suite, where they can try the printer, along with a range of DTG specific heat presses and pre-treatment machines.

Phil McMullin, sales manager, Professional Imaging, Epson UK said: “We are excited about the addition of Xpres to our SureColor SC-F2000 reseller program as their knowledge and experience in the personalised garment printing market is extensive.  With their comprehensive range of ancillary equipment and focus on outstanding customer service, we believe they will build further on the market success of our Epson DTG offering.”

The SureColor SC-F2000 printer is a complete design and textile printing solution. It uses Epson UltraChrome DG ink with white, a new garment ink formulated specifically for the new Epson PrecisionCore TFP printhead. As a result, the printer produces text and images with a wide colour gamut and smooth colour gradations. In its fastest print mode – dual CMYK – the SureColor SC-F2000 prints a T shirt in just 27 seconds.
