Graphtec GB launches new weekly podcast

PODCAST COVER IMAGE Graphtec GB launches new weekly podcastGraphtec GB has introduced its Cutting Matters weekly podcast that is available on the company’s YouTube and various social media channels and all major podcast providers.

The project has been eight months in production and is the only one of its kind in the industry. The podcasts are presented by Ellen Wain (business development executive) and Alastair Evens (digital marketing and e-commerce executive) from Graphtec GB’s HQ in Wrexham. Each week they will be focusing on different products and aspects of the industry. In conjunction with the podcast Mr Evens has created dedicated Facebook and Instagram The Cutting Matters accounts.

The first podcast in the series is an introduction to Graphtec GB and the range of brands, products and services offered. Graphtec GB is the main distributor for Graphtec, Silhouette, NBS Technologies, Sai, WidInovations, Brother and Colour & Shape. Also covered is the new innovation hash tag “Test before you invest” that Mr Evens created. You can try out any of the machines in the range either at Graphtec resellers or at Graphtec themselves before you buy. This gives the customer the perfect opportunity to use their own cutting files and samples of media to fully assimilate themselves with the machines.

Mr Evens and Ms Wain want to encourage their viewers and listeners to contact them at marketing@graphtecgb.co.uk if they have any questions or subjects that they would like to see covered, Graphtec GB want to make it as interactive as possible. Each week there will be an “Ask Ellen” section where Ms Wain will answer any queries that end users may have. They want to explore how the products are helping businesses develop and to interview both resellers and end users to educate in the opportunities that the Graphtec GB portfolio of products can offer.

There will be interviews with resellers who will discuss topics within the industry from how it is evolving to the latest technology and media and also end users sharing their experiences with machines products and customers. Along with new product news such as the latest release in the WidInovations range. Graphtec GB want to encourage subscribers to rate and comment on these podcasts and to have as much participation as possible. The team’s wish to make this a valuable educational tool for the cutting and printing industry.
