Imagine – the stylish sophistication of embroidery with the ease and speed of a transfer print

Well imagine no longer, as with the DST system this really is possible.

The DST system enables print/ embroidery companies to produce high quality designs as a DST transfer rather than embroidery. The transfer can be made to look like embroidery in every respect but the time taken and the subsequent cost of producing embroidery designs is significantly reduced. In some cases the cost can be up to 20 times less than traditional embroidery. This has the effect of allowing orders to be turned around much quicker than normal and if transfers are kept in stock then repeat orders are available at your fingertips. The traditional lead time of up to two hours for schoolwear and workwear companies to set up embroidery machines to produce repeat orders of five or 10 pieces can be slashed by using DST stock transfers which can be applied within minutes. Using the DST method up to 100 A4 sized transfers can be produced in less than an hour from the artwork arriving on the desk to being cut and packed in a bag.

More and more companies are taking the DST system from embroidery companies to bag printers, sportswear companies, label manufacturers, umbrella manufacturers and garment printers. DST transfers can be produced using just one screen in a streamlined process.

  • Screen Print.
  • Powder.
  • Press.

The new soft DST powder enables a full photographic transfer to be produced with one screen, which has stretch, soft feel and high durability. The system is PVC and phthalate free and highly cost effective.
