Incorporatewear raises £7,000 for charity in 2016

Last year, Coleshill-based corporate clothing supplier Incorporatewear raised £7,000 for charities including Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support and Ataxia UK.

Events included a half marathon, fun runs, coffee mornings and the Three Peaks Challenge.

Highlights included a team of 11 running a 10-kilometers race (just over six miles) in Sutton Coldfield Park in June, raising £1,095 for Cancer Research UK.

Staff raised more than £600 for the national charity for people with ataxia, the name given to a group of neurological disorders, during a fun filled charity day, which took take place at Incorporatewear’s headquarters. Throughout the day, staff hosted bake sales with homemade goods, quizzes and games.

Ed Grigg, general manager at Incorporatewear, said: “We are proud of the efforts that our people put in to help support charities throughout the year, and we plan to raise more funds this year with a range of new initiatives.”
