In June last year, Listawood went into administration and now 12 months later Kermaikos and Themalmate are relaunching several of the manufacturer’s products and processes.
Following the company’s entry into administration, Keramikos and Thermalmate stepped in to acquire its assets, an important move to preserve and reignite the innovative spirit Listawood was known for.
One of the more popular processes being relaunched is the ColourCoat spray line, known for its precision Pantone colour matching; a favourite among brand conscious clients seeking consistency across their promotional merchandise.
The ColourCoat spray line now utilises water-based inks, offering a more sustainable alternative to traditional solvent-based options within the industry.
To accommodate these new products and processes, the Keramikos and Thermalmate manufacturing facility in Alfreton has has undergone significant expansion to integrate the specialised equipment. A new mezzanine extension has been constructed to accommodate the advanced machinery, and a custom-built housing unit now ensures the streamlined operation of the inherited production lines. Meanwhile, stock and logistics have been optimised with the opening of a dedicated new warehouse site less than a mile down the road.
Both companies are committed to bringing revitalised products and enhanced production capabilities to market.
