Wide-format printer and sign cutting plotter manufacturer Mutoh has added two new products to its extensive portfolio.
The new ValueJet 1604X single head 64in wide printer model features a professional standard configuration including a RIP and a motorised take-up system for rolls up to 30kg. It is targeted at starting sign makers, as well as existing print providers looking for a wider printer.
The VJ-1604X incorporates Mutoh’s industry-leading Intelligent Interweaving (i²) and new revolutionary DropMaster print technology offering the highest level of print automation on the sign and display market.
Featuring a dual staggered head setup for increased speed and two LED UV lamps for reduced cure time, the new ValueJet 1638UH 64in wide hybrid LED UV printer will print on a wide variety of rigid and flexible materials, including heat sensitive substrates.
It offers print resolutions up to 1440x1400dpi, utilising Mutoh’s VOC-free LED UV CMYK, white and varnish inks to produce high quality graphics for short viewing distances, such as packaging designs, customised interior decorations and trade show graphics.
