Earlier in the month, Madeira UK celebrated Karen Burrows’ 40th anniversary with the company.
Ms Burrows joined Madeira UK in 1985 and was managing director for 22 years. Her leadership steered the company through change and challenge, leaving a lasting impact that continues to define the company today.
In May 2023, Ms Burrows stepped down as MD and moved into the role of chairman.
In recognition of her four decades of unwavering contribution and service, Madeira UK has dedicated its Embroidery Training Room in her name as a lasting tribute to her legacy, influence, and passion for developing others.
