Mi Hub has installed 72 solar panels at Castle Donington HQ, generating clean energy and marking a major step toward carbon net zero.
In just the first three months of operation they’ve generated over 9,000 kWh of electricity. That’s enough energy to power three average homes for a full year.
The corporate clothing specialist expects the panels to supply around 10% of its Castle Donington office’s annual energy needs. It’s a tangible milestone as the company works towards its long-term goal of becoming carbon net zero.
The investment reflects Mi Hub’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact and playing an active role in creating a more sustainable, energy-conscious future.
Stephanie Barnard, director of ESG and risk, said: “This project is a visible sign of our commitment to reducing emissions and embedding sustainability into everything we do. It’s not just about hitting targets; it’s about leading by example and creating lasting change.”
The solar panels were installed in February.
