Earlier this year, Mimaki launched the newest addition to its UJF Series flatbed UV printers: the Kebab HS.

The Kebab HS was launched at FESPA Global Print Expo in March and offers faster 360° printing on cylindrical objects such as bottles and tumblers. It now also supports tapered items like glasses and cups.

The optional device enhances the UJF Series by enabling 3D direct to object printing, thereby expanding application possibilities for promotional products such as branded, reusable drinkware.

The Kebab HS boasts triple the speed of its predecessor, the Kebab MkII, and is ideal for mid-volume orders.

This efficiency upgrade is crucial for businesses seeking to enhance productivity, especially when delivering bespoke items with short lead times.

Andy Gregory, sales director at Hybrid Services, said: “It’s now faster than ever to create a seamless, 360° print onto water bottles, packaging and other cylinders.

“Customers can now be even more creative with the ability to print to tapered items, opening up new products and opportunities.”
