Wide-format digital printer manufacturer Mutoh has added three new printers to its extensive portfolio of professional large format printers.
The new ValueJet VJ-626UF is a six-colour (CMYK, white, varnish) A2-size flatbed LED UV printer. A wide variety of solid materials and objects up to a thickness of 150 mm (5.9in) can be printed.
Offering a bed size of 594x483mm (19×23.4in), the printer is targeted at short-run personalisation of gifts and gadgets, packaging prototypes, awards, speciality industrial items, labels, decals, signs, etc. The new VJ-626UF is an addition to Mutoh’s award winning VJ-426UF A3 flatbed LED UV printer model.
Offering print resolutions up to 1440×1440 dpi, the VJ-626UF printer has an integrated vacuum bed, an automatic table lifting system as well as an LED pointer to facilitate accurate media placement and origin point detection. Thickness of the loaded object is also automatically measured.
The VJ-1948WX (1910mm – 75.19in) is a newly designed sublimation transfer printer featuring a staggered four print head setup and large built-in dual heaters enabling high speed printing and improved productivity.
The new printer delivers production speeds of 67m sq/hr (360×720 – four pass) and 88m sq/hr (360×720 – two pass) up to 125m sq/hr (360×360 – two pass). Top speed is 194, sq/hr.

The compact and surprisingly budget friendly ValueJet 1604WX (1625 mm – 64in) is ideally suited for daily sublimation needs. The VJ-1604WX model features a variable drop eight channel print head, allowing output resolutions up to 1440×1440 dpi. The printer will deliver quality production speeds up to 22m sq/hr at 360×1080 dpi – three pass.
