New EMEA president for Roland DG

Gregory Bilsen has been promoted to the role of president, Roland DG EMEA. Based in Belgium, Mr Bilsen has started the role with immediate effect, while continuing to act as president and CEO of Roland DG Central Europe.

Reporting to Eli Keersmaekers, president of global sales and marketing and executive officer at Roland DG HQ, Mr Bilsen’s appointment reflects the company’s continued growth, and its focus on meeting the requirements of its customer base throughout EMEA.

In his expanded role, Mr Bilsen will work to drive further growth within EMEA, consolidating Roland DG’s strong leadership position and boosting sales across Roland DG’s product lines. Mr Bilsen has worked within Roland DG since 2011, having previously held the roles of COO and president of Roland DG Belgium.

Mr Bilsen has led Roland DG’s Central European business unit for nearly five years, and has transformed the business by driving forward sales within new vertical markets – such as retail and industrial – while boosting growth, service and support at a local level. Following his appointment, Johan Struyfs, Roland DG Central Europe’s head of sales, marketing and service, has been promoted to operations director, Roland DG Central Europe. In his new role, Mr Struyfs will support Mr Bilsen by assuming responsibility for operations within the region with immediate effect.
