One school mad about basketball has teamed up with GFORCE to create a kit which meets their criteria.

Since 2010 Nottingham Academy has been recognised as an Institute of Basketball Excellence, an initiative developed in partnership with one of the UK’s top clops, the Nottingham Wildcats.

This initiative places basketball high on the agenda for the school, with pupils playing anything between 15 and 20 hours of the sport a week under the stewardship of the Institute’s director Phil Waghorn.

Mr Waghorn said: “The Basketball Excellence program is a serious athletic student programme, requiring dedication, discipline and many sacrifices. We have seen pupils flourish since basketball was promoted heavily within the school and with so many children choosing to play every day we decided to upgrade the team image with a new kit.

“After much research I selected GFORCE as their customer service was head and shoulders above the rest and the product looked great. Now we actually have the kit I am pleased to say I am not disappointed, in fact, we are so impressed that we are just at the final stages of placing a comparable order for the girls.”

Many of the pupils engaged on the Basketball Excellence Program with Nottingham Academy have gone on to play at regional and national level.

Nottingham Basketball selected training shirts and tracksuits for all of the pupils participating in the program and also a competition kit.
