P&P LIVE! exhibitor Bursali Towels becomes a buyer

The two new Tajima TMEZ machines

While exhibiting at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! earlier in the year, Bursali Towels MD, Steve Vallender, spotted the new state-of-the-art Tajima TMEZ on the AJS Embroidery Services stand, liked what he saw and so bought two of them.

With the busy summer season in full swing and ever-increasing orders, both for Bursali’s printed and embroidered towels, Mr Vallender calculated that these two new machines would greatly increase their production.

The flagship Tajima TMEZ Type 2 is the only multi-head in the world with the new i-TM intelligent thread management – which is an automatic tension adjustment system – that will improve and keep the stitch quality more consistent than the manual tension machines Bursali had before.

Along with the time saved on tensioning, the picker-less trimming, reduced maintenance, and the 1100spm run speed, they have decreased the production time quite significantly and have resulted in Bursali having more capacity and enabling quicker lead-times for customers.

Mr Vallender said: “Since these machines were installed in early June, they have proved to be a game-changer for us and have increased our embroidery capacity by approximately 50%. We always invest in modern, state-of-the-art machinery and we are already excited by the difference these machines have made.”
